Character that I like the most
  I have selected the short story entitled ‘One Is One and All Alone’ written by Nicholas Fisk in order to answer the question. The short story tells about a girl named Trish who travels to Planet Trion in a spaceship in 2045. She clones herself in the BioLab and Clo who is her clone becomes her companion. However, the twist happens when Trish is disposed by her own clone.

            The character I like the most in the short story is Trish. I like her the most because she is a brave, smart and creative person. First and foremost, Trish is a brave person. She is the only child in the spaceship and her mother is on Planet Trion. Trish is brave to lead her life without her mother by her side for the next two years. In addition to this, Trish is a smart person. She learns her school lessons on her own from VoicePrinter and she knows how to play the game, Pop Star. Last but not least, Trish is a creative person. She knows how to clone and eventually she succeeds in cloning Clo to be her companion in the spaceship.

             In conclusion, the character I like the most is Trish because she is a brave, smart and creative person. She can be a good role model for all students.

Character the I dislike the most

However, the twist happens when Trish is disposed by her own clone.
            The character I dislike the most in the short story is Clo. Clo is the clone produced by Trish in the BioLab in the spaceship she travels in on the way to Planet Trion. I dislike her the most because she is a copy cat, shrewd and selfish person. First and foremost, Clo is a copy cat. She copies Trish’s actions and talking. She even claims that Trish’s mother is her mother too. In addition to this, Clo is a shrewd person. She figures out what Trish plans to do and she is quick thinking as she beats Trish at her own game and she wins as she disposes Trish through the hatch. Last but not least, Clo is a selfish person. Clo does not feel bad or remorse after she disposes Trish and she continues living as Trish.
In conclusion, the character I dislike the most is Clo because she is a copy cat and she is a shrewd and selfish person. Her negative traits make readers detest her the most.
